PixelBlocker+ for Mac
PixelBlocker+ for Mac censors explicit content across your whole Mac screen in real time. Detection runs on your Mac with hardware acceleration, and every frame of your screen stays there. Run a Solo session, or pair with a dom: the Dom app for Mac is free.
What you need
- An Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later). Intel Macs are not supported.
- 8 GB of memory recommended.
- Screen Recording permission for the Sub app. Without it the detector sees a black screen and nothing gets censored.
- A licence key for the Sub app. The Dom app needs none.
The operating system version and the rest of the requirements for the build on offer today are on the download page.
Install and first run
Your first session
Pair with your dom
The Dom app is free, so your dom needs nothing but the app. They generate a pairing code (it lasts 10 minutes), you enter it in CONNECT → PAIR, and they approve the request. When they start a session you get a consent prompt with who, how long and what lock level. You have 60 seconds to accept; doing nothing declines it.
Once you accept, your dom can set every session option and change them live. They can never see your screen, start anything without your consent, or remove your safety rails.
Media Studio and Broadcast
With PixelBlocker+ Premium (£4.99 a month or £39.99 a year) the Sub app on your Mac also opens Media Studio and Broadcast, and runs keyholder locks. Broadcast censors a camera feed into a virtual webcam. Premium goes on your PixelBlocker+ account: sign in with it in the app. Creator and Full Bundle licences keep Broadcast.
What it costs
- Sub app: a licence key, £10 one-time, on one device at a time.
- Bundle: £15 one-time, one key for your computer and your phone. Pick macOS + Android or Windows + Android at checkout.
- Dom app: free. No licence required.
PixelBlocker+ Premium, £4.99 a month or £39.99 a year, goes on your PixelBlocker+ account, not on a key: the browser extension in one browser, and in the app Media Studio, Broadcast and keyholder locks. It does not unlock the app, which needs its own licence key.
