Refund Policy
1. Your purchase starts at once
A licence key is issued, and Premium is switched on, as soon as your payment goes through. Before you pay, the checkout asks you to agree to this:
“I ask for my purchase to start straight away, and I understand that once it starts I lose my 14-day right to cancel.”
You cannot complete the purchase without agreeing. Your order email repeats the sentence as your record.
2. No refunds for a change of mind
Except as sections 4 and 5 say:
- Licence keys. A key is not refundable once it has been issued, whether or not you have activated it.
- Premium. Premium is not refundable once it has started, and we do not refund part of a monthly or yearly period.
- Renewals. Premium renews automatically. A renewal is not refundable, so cancel before your renewal date if you do not want the next period.
3. Cancelling Premium
You can cancel at any time on the Manage subscription page, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Premium stays on until the end of the period you have paid for, then it stops.
4. When we do refund
- A charge made by mistake. If you are charged twice for the same thing, or after you cancelled, we refund the mistaken charge.
- A feature taken away. If we remove something important that Premium covers, you can cancel and we refund the unused part of your current period (section 10 of our Terms).
- Something faulty. See section 5.
5. If something is faulty
UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, gives you rights if something is faulty. They include:
- If the app or Premium is faulty, not as described or not fit for its purpose, we will repair or replace it. If we cannot do that within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you are entitled to a price reduction, which can be the full price.
- If a service we provide is not carried out with reasonable care and skill, we will put it right. If we cannot, you are entitled to a price reduction.
- If something we supplied damages your device or other digital content, because we did not take reasonable care, we will repair the damage or compensate you.
To claim, email us (section 8) and tell us what is wrong.
6. Payment disputes and chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please email us first. If a payment is disputed or reversed through your bank or card provider, the licence key or Premium it paid for stops working, and the Premium subscription is cancelled. We may answer the dispute with the record of your purchase and of your agreement in section 1. If the dispute is closed in our favour, we turn back on what that payment paid for.
7. Misuse
If we end a key, an account or Premium under section 11 of our Terms (for example for sharing a key, getting round the licence checks or abusing the support process), there is no refund, except where the law gives you one.
8. How to contact us and how refunds are paid
Email [email protected] with the email address you paid with, the date of the payment, your licence key (or its first 6 characters) if it is about a key, and what went wrong.
A refund we owe goes back to the payment method you used, at no cost to you. It is paid within 14 days of the day we agree it or, if the law lets you cancel, of the day you tell us you cancel. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
9. Earlier purchases
PixelBlocker+ used to be called GoonerLock. A licence key bought under that name keeps the refund terms in force when you bought it, where they give you more.
10. Your legal rights
Nothing on this page takes away a right the law gives you.
